The Lazy Bear Lodge is a 3200 sq. ft. CUSTOM BUILT LUXURY GREEN HOME with 5 bedrooms (including Master Suite and second Family Suite), 3.5 baths and 3 finished levels. HIGHEST QUALITY FURNISHINGS AND AMENITIES. The décor is BEAUTIFUL and INVITING. We believe that ATMOSPHERE IS EVERYTHING and providing people with a true lodge experience and the best quality furnishings and amenities will keep them coming back. WE LOVE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY! We are very involved owners and routinely maintain the property of things that need fixing, replacing, restocking and deep cleaning.
The Layout:
*WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE OUTSIDE on the deck under a huge overhang!!! So even if it is raining, sit out by the fireplace in comfortable luxury outdoor living furniture, sip wine and listen to the rain!! This is part of the huge 12' deep deck that runs the length of the lodge facing the state forest with the largest and oldest Hemlock trees in the area. DECK IS GATED FOR THE LITTLE ONES SO RELAX !!!
LOWER LEVEL- LIVING AREA-GAME ROOM-lower level bedrooms including Family Suite. LAUNDRY ROOM WITH EXTRA REFRIGERATOR.
3RD FIREPLACE/WOOD STOVE. Over sized 4'x5' windows & high ceilings. HEATED FLOORS-2nd great room-main floor feel- shared full bath.
Door access/walk out to back yard/forest.
*SEPARATE Large COVERED Porch 10' x 22' on the side of the house for dining outside, seating for 8. Dining room/kitchen have seating for 13. KITCHEN HAS TOP QUALITY GRANITE COUNTER TOPS AND 42' CABINETS and is fully stocked with QUALITY cookware and utensils (that are replaced yearly), Keurig & 2 drip pots PLUS LOTS OF EXTRAS including spices, coffee supplies, plastic wrap, foil, paper towels, toilet paper hand soap, start stix for fireplace... etc!
**EXTRA REFRIGERATOR ON LOWER LEVEL IN LAUNDRY ROOM**
*HUGE MASTER SUITE (with FLAT SCREEN wall tv, HD DVR, DVD-Direct TV) on first floor has a king rustic pine bed with HIGH END PURPLE HYBRID mattress for a COMFORTABLE night's sleep. Room is large (26'x 13'.) with French door access to the deck and hot tub. Plenty ROOM NEXT TO BED FOR (SUPPLIED CRIB) or sleeping bags if needed. Attached full bath.
*Two bedrooms up stairs EACH have queen log beds with plush pillow top mattresses for a COMFORTABLE nights sleep. FLAT SCREEN TVs with DVD and Direct TV. Very quiet and cozy with pine ceilings and walls! Shared full bath.
*Two lower level bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 has a twin bunk bed with trundle (3 twin beds total) and roll away bed.
Bedroom #2 (FAMILY SUITE) has a twin bunk bed (2 twin beds) and plush QUEEN BED and attached full bathroom (with second door access for common area.)
Each has a FLAT SCREEN TV with Direct TV and ACCESS to GAME ROOM.

Bray Run subdivision has a large play set for the children including a climbing wall and a love seat swing for the adults.

We are with in walking/bike riding distance (2 mi) to SWALLOW FALLS STATE PARK where you can walk in a wooded fairy-tale forest to beautiful falls (LARGEST WATERFALL IN MARYLAND) and swimming holes. You can wander behind the falls for an even more exciting adventure!!!
