The private ensuite bathroom enjoys great water pressure, shower with hot water 24 hours of the day, sink, toilet bowl with toilet paper and towels. Daily cleaning of the room and bathroom is carried out. In addition to the change of sheets and towels.

Mary, your hostess in Havana is a retired English teacher who likes sharing coffee in the morning with guests. The Hostal stands in a 1921 building in Old Havana with high ceilings and beautiful light. Decorated with a warm and modern style, where art and paintings from Cuban artists can be appreciated alongside the simplicity of our Cuban traditions.

The apartment has two other guest rooms, so you can expect to share the common areas with other guests and the hostess, it's a great way to meet friends during your trip! Also ideal for families, friends or couples offering security, privacy and comfort.

The accommodation is located near historical and cultural landmarks such as Old Square (Plaza Vieja), Cristo's Square (Plaza del Cristo), the National Capitol, Obispo Boulevard, Havana's Waterfront "el Malecon", Paseo del Prado and Cathedral Square, among other places.

You can organize your day trip to Viñales from the Hostel as well as your transfer by colectivo to Trinidad, Cienfuegos, Viñales or Varadero, with attractive prices and through the contacts and friends of our Hostel.

For example, it is possible to organize a day trip to Viñales that includes a visit to an artisanal tobacco production farm and tasting of a Cuban cigar, a visit to local sites of interest such as the Hotel Los Jasmines viewpoint, the Mural of Prehistory and the Cueva del Indio, as well as round trip transportation. We also suggest a day trip to Varadero or Playa Larga, where you can visit local destinations and practice snorkeling along the Cuban coastline.

Our house is located in one of the oldest streets of Old Havana, Muralla St, surrounded by Old Havana's patrimonial heritage recognized by UNESCO and the United Nations since 1982. You can easily access by foot to many historical and cultural landmarks of our city. Discovering the beauty of our main colonial squares: La Plaza Vieja, La Plaza de San Francisco, La Plaza de Armas and La Plaza de la Catedral. Alongside our proud history in Museum of Revolution, Museum of Rom, Museum of Bell Arts and the City Museum as well as in The Fortresses of Havana's Castillo de la Real Fuerza, San Carlos de la Cabaña and Los Tres Reyes del Morro.
Also, you can enjoy our typical cuisine and exuberant street life in Bar Floridita, Bar-Restaurant La Bodeguita del Medio, La Moneda Cubana Restaurant, Doña Eutimia Restaurant, La Vitrola Restaurant and Los Nardos Restaurant, among many other choices you can enjoy from this privileged position.

My name is Mary and I'm Cuban, I was born in Havana and I'm currently a retired English teacher. I'm living with my son Rodney and my daughter in law, Laura. They both own a Guest House in Old Havana in the historical center of the city. I help them welcoming guests at home and I like sharing our knowledge of Havana so our guests can experience the beauty of our lovely city.
I also enjoy preparing breakfast in the morning and chatting with our travelers about many things: our country, our lives as well as their lives and experiences. I enjoy good music, I love Cuban food and good wine although my favorite drink is Gin & Tonic!
