Located in a tropical safe apartment block, with beautiful private garden views it is an easy few minutes walk to Manly cafes, bars, famous Manly beach and the 20min ferries to the city. Explore north head national park for great walks & bike rides, look for whales or visit the ghost quarantine station.

Clean and fresh 2 bedroom apartment with large bay windows that look out on to gardens. Quiet and very well located. The locals know the street as one of the best streets in Manly. Located on the renowned Eastern Hill part of Manly. Walk to five surrounding beaches. I take pride in my home and the building was the old nurses quarters. Safe area day and night, good stainless steel fridge and appliances. (stove is an older stove) Well organised. NBD Wi-fi included.

Amazing area and neighbourhood. Highly recommend doing the Manly ocean swimming group all welcome and free. (Winter you will need your wetsuit). Walk down one end of the street for views of the city and harbour, walk other end for amazing views of Manly beach as per cover photo. Winter can look even better as water is clear. Cafes and bars offer great local deals and live music, can recommend a whole list with happy hours. Enjoyable place to easily walk to the beach, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Bus stops outside the apartment or walk 6mins to public transport ferry or bus. National park is just up the hill on North Head, walk, bike or drive. Try your luck to see the local fairy penguins or during winter is the time to view the whales going past.

I am a professional consultant and facilitator in resilience, mental wellbeing and leadership and risk culture training. I so enjoy living in Manly and have set up my home as a tropical beach holiday for 365 days of the year.

In less than a 7 min stroll, I walk either way to the harbour side and grab a coffee and jump on the fast or slow ferry where I sit outside and make the most of the sea air and harbour 20 or 30 min trip. I like meeting up with friends and can walk the other from my home which is just a few mins down to the famous Manly beach and check out the waves, meet friends and walk from beach to beach and stop for a coffee, bite to eat or a sunset drink at many of the bars, cafes and restaurants along the way.

7 mins heading up the hill (walk or bike) is the famous North heads cliffs, national park, secluded beaches and the historic quarantine station where I ride my bike. The quarantine station allows bike riders to go in with their bikes (no cars allowed). It is a great spot to get some exercise and be surrounded by historic history and some say ghosts!. Not that I have seen one yet, though it is meant to be the most haunted place in Australia.

A big part of the Manly community is snorkelling and swimming around the protected areas to Shelly beach which we do from early morning and throughout the day. I snorkelled in the pacific islands and other places to realise Manly has better fish and sea life.

I have travelled worked and lived in USA, Britain, Europe and Japan. I know what it is like to be in a new place and wanting to meet people. Manly is both a famous beach and a wonderful community from ocean swimming, volleyball, surfing, salsa dancing, toastmasters and trivia groups from all ages and walks of life. I would be happy to introduce people on how to get involved in these very welcoming all inclusive (some free) groups and enjoy the local activities and chance to meet friends from 20s to 80s +.

In my twenties I worked in marketing for tourism and travel and enjoy knowing where all the happy hour, meal specials and great deals are. There are fantastic deals in Manly what ever your budget or style is.
