Enjoy a cozy stay that is close to Kalamazoo's restaurants and attractions. On 22 acres with trails near Al Sabo Land Preserve. Beautiful and picturesque view of property from the living room space. The apartment is fully furnished with linens and dishes. Just bring yourself and your suitcase. There is a queen mattress ready for your peaceful slumber on the loft and also a sleeper sofa on the main floor.

You have your own private patio area just outside your back door. Enjoy a good book or get some work done while enjoying the outdoors during the warmer months. Although you will be tucked away from the hustle and bustle, you can still get to downtown and the airport within 10-20 minutes. If you'd prefer to take the Metro transit bus, you can walk to the bus stop (2-3 minute walk). We are located about 8-10 minutes from WMU campus.
IMPORTANT NOTE:If you are afraid of heights or have trouble climbing a ladder, there is a full size bed in the sleeper sofa on the main floor. I encourage all guests to look at all of the pictures and ask questions before booking their reservation.
**Please also note that this rental is within 100 feet from our home. We are quiet and friendly and keep to ourselves, but if you have questions or need anything, we are here for you. Some guests may want even more privacy, so if the proximity of the rental to our home may bother you, please consider this before booking.**

My name is Stephanie and I am your host.
I am a full-time mom to Jack and Eliza and during the week, I’m a technical sourcing recruiter for Amazon AWS.

I enjoy time spent outside and travel adventures with my family.

Chad is my husband and he enjoys his time spent outside whether splitting wood, swimming with the kids, or working with his Bobcat. He's pretty handy.

We have 2 kids, Jack and Eliza who love playing with their friends at school and come home to play outside. They make cute little greeters for our guests as well. They love our cats, Johnny and J.J. Our cats may greet you upon arrival as well, but please be assured that they are strictly outdoor cats. Due to possible allergies, they are not allowed in the rentals. They spend each night in their "kitty condo", so you may only see them through the window at some point during your stay.

We adopted a 4 year lab mix from SPCA. His name is Max and he is very friendly. He stays inside with us most of the day, but he does like to spend time outside playing fetch with his tennis balls or a random stick.

We enjoy time spent with each other, especially by the fire and we love to go camping in the summer. We also enjoy getting to know our guests.
