ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
As a result of the additional time required to prepare and sanitise the property between lettings the earliest arrival time is 5PM and the property must be vacated by 9am at the latest on day of departure. This is to ensure the safety of our guests and ourselves as much as possible and we thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding.

THE CHALETS
We have two Chalets side by side and both are of the same high standard of finish and facilities. They are on two floors. Each lodge has 2 bedrooms downstairs, One with King size bed and the other set up with two single beds. There is also a bathroom with bath and shower on this floor. Upstairs there is a lounge, dining area and kitchen all on open plan and patio doors lead from the lounge to a small wooden balcony offering spectacular mountain views. The lodges are identical in layout quality and finish but, occasionally for operational reasons, may be allocated on arrival.
There is safe private parking in the grounds exclusively for lodge use.
There is an excellent free Superfast Fibre Optic broadband connection and 4G mobile connection.

COVID CLEANING PROCEDURES
As we enter the start of the 2021 season it is a great relief that we can appear to be more optimistic about returning to a more normal life. It's important that a lot of the measures put in place to help restrict transmission are not relaxed. Lindsay and I have decided that the additional cleaning and sanitising procedures from last year will now form a standard part of the preparation of the living spaces. As well as an intensive clean, all surfaces (door handles, light switches, plug sockets etc.) are treated at each changeover with Steri-7 Biocidal Reactive Barrier disinfectant that keeps on working for up to 7days between cleans and reactivates on touch. Lastly, the whole area is fogged, again with Steri-7, to make sure the environment is as safe and sterile as possible prior to your arrival. Hand sanitisers are also provided.

The village and facilities are just a few minutes walk from your lodge. There is a Spar mini Supermarket and Post Office which is well stocked and open from 8 am - 10 pm during the summer months and until 8pm the rest of the year. There are plenty of good places to eat. The Old Station restaurant and Russell's Bistro are popular with our guests as is The Bridge Cafe serves an excellent all day breakfast and anything from coffee and cake to a full three course meal. All are within easy walking distance from here and we are happy to phone ahead and make reservations for our guests if required.

I (Nic) am a graphic designer and my company produces Canvas Artwork and photography which adorn the walls in the chalets. Lindsay is a Dual Trained Nurse specialising in Learning Disability and Challenging Behaviour. We used to live in Cambridge and came for a holiday in July 2002 to Oban. Although both Scottish, Lindsay and I grew up in the central region and until that holiday had never visited the West Coast or Highlands and just fell in love with the area. We decided during that week that we wanted to relocate to here so on the way back home we started planning how to do it. We put our house in Cambridge on the market and started looking around. We remembered how friendly Spean Bridge was and this place just came on the market (in a completely different form than it is now) so we flew up to see it. Within 2 weeks we had sold our house and bought Corrieview. We moved here in November of that year thinking it would be a slower pace of life and we still don’t feel like our feet have touched the ground! We have been very fortunate to have met some really amazing people in the past 18 years and enjoy hosting and sharing this amazing part of the world with guests. We don’t like to be “in your face” but are always on hand if needed and want this to feel like your home for the time you are here.

CHECK IN / OUT: The lodge will be available from 5 pm. and check out is 9am on day of departure. We appreciate your compliance with these times, especially with departure as the extra time is required between bookings to comply with Covid cleaning and sanitising guidance. PLEASE ADVISE AS SOON AS IS CONVENIENT THE APPROXIMATE TIME OF YOUR ARRIVAL ESPECIALLY IF LATER THAN 6 pm. We don't believe in the "Collect the key from under the third stone at the bottom of the driveway" style of hosting. We live on site and will be here to welcome you (socially distanced of course) and get you settled in after your journey and will be available throughout your stay to help with any information on the area or any assistance you may require to make your stay with us more enjoyable.
