Ica Station Whare is a 1 bedroom 'Whare' located in the beautiful landscaped gardens of the Ica Station Homestead at Whareama, a short 15 minute drive from Riversdale Beach. Here you have garden views and a short stroll to our swimming pool and spa pool, at the back of the homestead. Please note you must have a 'vaccine pass' to use of these shared facilities.

The Whare is fully furnished and has a small kitchenette, with two ring stove, oven, microwave, kettle and fridge freezer, so you are totally self-contained.

Nearby at Riversdale or Castlepoint you can enjoy surfing, swimming, tennis, golf, sea fishing, trekking or river fishing. Or just relax, read a book and enjoy the peace and quiet of this wonderful location.

A dog by PRIOR arrangement ONLY - cost $15 per night extra, plus refundable bond may be required in Winter time or if bringing younger untrained dog.
Owner must agree to dog rules - which will be sent prior to confirmation.

At Riversdale beach, the Golf Club has tennis courts to hire and provides good value meals on a Friday evening! The local Dairy/Store is a small shop and has a liquor licence, postal facility and is a cafe open 7 days a week.

We are Carmen & Richard Tredwell - originally from the UK, now NZ citizens.
We've lived in New Zealand for the past 17 years and love it. We live in a beautiful historic homestead that we've turned into a B&B and have two ornate holiday cottages all set in 20 acres of landscaped gardens.

For seven months of the year (Oct - Apr) we run the 'Whareama Coastal Walk' from here - a fully catered 2 or 3 day walking experience over private farmland with isolated coastline views! So if you enjoy trekking, check us out.

We enjoy having visitors come and share our 'little piece of paradise' here in the Wairarapa, on the East Coast of the North Island. We look forward to meeting you!
