5th generation quaternary ammonium is sprayed to all environments and surfaces before each new reservation. Likewise, the apartment is constantly ozonized, since we have our own machinery to carry out this task on a regular basis.

It is perfect for telecommuting, watching television, a movie or perhaps a marathon of your favorite series in the bigger TV located in the living room or to simply rest during your vacation or business trip, after a busy day in the beautiful city of Arequipa.

You can come in and out of the apartment at any time you desire, just as you would do in your own home.

Completely PRIVATE and INDEPENDENT, it does NOT have shared areas with other people (except for the main entrance door to the building and its common areas such as the hallways and staircases as well as a small terrace located on the top floor of the building

From the apartment you can quickly walk to two of the largest and most varied shopping centers in the city (Mall Aventura Porongoche and Parque Lambramani) where you will find everything you need during your stay, from supermarkets (Tottus, Metro), shops (Falabella, Ripley, H&M, Sodimac, Maestro etc.) coffee shops (Starbucks, Juan Valdez, Dunkin Donuts, etc.) to a wide variety of great restaurants (Ekeko, Tanta, Mis Costillitas, La Lucha, Chili's, Capriccio, Meiji Sushi & Teppan, El Montonero, Papa Johns , Don Calletano, Pizza Hut, KFC, El Pollo Real, Norkys, among others)

Likewise, it is located only 15 minutes away by taxi from downtown Arequipa main square (approximate cost of the taxi: from 8 to 10 soles)

My apartment is ideal for traveling solo, as a couple or even with a friend/colleage, but please keep in mind before booking that there´s an extra guest charge, I kindly ask that before making your reservation remember to enter the real number of people who will stay and/or will be able to enter the department so that the page automatically calculates the correct price and avoid later inconveniences.

If you travel solo but plan to regularly receive visits from a local friend, relative or acquaintance it is better to book the apartment for 2 instead of just for one person, otherwise the extra guest charge will be more expensive and will have to be payed at the end of your stay in cash only.

NOTE: The maximum number of persons allowed in this apartment is 02 (two) between adults and children

Keep in mind that children over 2 years old do count as additional people and should be considered as such when making your reservation, the only ones who do not count are infants under 02 years old.

The apartment has only ONE room with a double bed.

NOTE: By default, the apartment is prepared for the entry of a single person or for a couple according to the number of people detailed in your reservation, but if booked as a double twin for two people who are not a couple (requires prior notice from you before arrival) extra linen, a pillow and a blanket will be provided so that the second person staying can use the futon located in the living room as an additional bed (FYI it is NOT possible to place another type of bed or any other beds whatsoever)

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE MINI APARTMENT:

It is located on the SECOND FLOOR of an anti-seismic building (it does NOT have an elevator)

It has only one room in which you’ll find a double bed (sleeps 1-2) with private bathroom and shower with hot water, it also has two wardrobes and a 24-inch TV with cable.

The room receives plenty of natural lighting in the mornings (sunlight) and also has insulated windows (which reduce noise from the street) for greater comfort when sleeping.

The bed is made with two pillows and clean and disinfected linen. One shower towel per adult is also provided.

Next to the bedroom, in a separate area, is the kitchenette, which has upper and lower cabinets, a 4-burner stove (without oven), basic kitchen utensils, and also includes complete kitchenware (cutlery and crockery) some salt, basic kitchen utensils, a pot and a pan (oil, pepper and/or any other seasonings will NOT be provided)

It has a small dishwasher sink, standard size refrigerator (w/ freezer on top), electric kettle, mini toaster oven, blender, small electric coffee maker and microwave. It also has a dining bar with 02 high chairs to eat and/or sit down to use a computer.

Nearby you can find a small living room that has a futon, a desk and work chair, as well as a 42-inch flat-screen TV with cable that also allows you to watch NETFLIX (you can use your own account or the one installed on the TV without problem)

As a bonus (free optional benefit), if available and only if requested in advance, I can lend you a TV box type device (Fire stick or similar) to turn the TV in the living room into Smart+ so you can watch content from a greater number of streaming applications, you can use my already logged-in accounts of AMAZON PRIME, DISNEY PLUS, STAR PLUS, HBO MAX or NETFLIX at no cost, this optional benefit is free, but it must be requested on site if required. REMEMBER: This is a bonus, NOT a service offered, so it may not be available during your stay (subject to availability)

NOTE: the TV in the bedroom does not have an accessible HDMI port, so this device could only be used on the TV in the living room.

Near the living room is the guest ½ bathroom and also inside is the laundry area, where you’ll find the washing machine (free service especially offered for weekly or monthly stays), a sink and a retractable clothes hanger (NOTE: I do not offer a drying machine)

In the living room, you will find a Wi-Fi internet router, the Internet connection is fast enough to perform common tasks (browsing, telecommuting, streaming apps) and has a good signal range, please try not to touch it and keep it on and plugged in 24/7

The apartment is numbered and has an intercom doorbell with a remote opening button for the entrance door of the building.

Building is located in Jose Luis Bustamante y Rivero an off the beaten path but close to everything district in Arequipa, within walking distance to Arequipa's biggest shopping malls and a short $2 USD taxi ride away from downtown Arequipa, near the apartment you'll also find a wide variety of shops and a local market.

Just a few steps from the building can find a very well known Drugstore-Pharmacy called INKAFARMA, to buy medicines and personal hygiene supplies.

A 24/7 mini market named LISTO is also just around the corner where you can also pay by credit card, it also has an ATM on site. This kind of 24/7 markets are very rare in Arequipa and you'll be lucky to have one just one block away from the apartment, I personally find this very useful as you never know when you will find yourself in need of a beer or craving a burger or a snack in the middle of the night, there's also a new mini market called MASS located nearby that is open from 7am to 10pm to get groceries and similar items.

Also foodies should keep in mind that apps like RAPPI and PEDIDOS YA work great in the apartment, food from the best and pretty much every restaurant in town can be ordered through these apps.
