QUIET CORNER IN PARADISE where your wake up call may be sandhill cranes, Western Meadow Larks, elk bugling, or cattle on the Story ranch. In every direction mountain ranges are in sight. The Absaroka mountains are to the east and the Gallatin range to the west. During September and early October elk may be heard bugling in the Valley. September is their rut season and a sense of excitement is in the air! Between Quiet Corner and Yellowstone prong horn, elk, and big horn sheep may be seen.
